@funnyfokker25 not really because there was a show this season where howard lenord and raji eat funny brownies by mistake while they were camping…but your right it would of been a lot funnier if sheldon was there too

I would love to see Sheldon, from the show Big Bang Theory, have a scene like this eating a “funny brownie” and see how well he’d play that……wait a second, that’s too politically incorrect for television now isn’t it? Dammit…..Yes This show was the best!!
    Thanks for posting this clip

@emmettsgirl981 I’m sorry, but are you being ironic or something? Tom Hanks’ character is named Gordon. Lloyd DOES play Jim.

Christopher Lloyd should’ve done Jim when he was at Harvard. Tom Hanks just doesn’t have the ability to play Jim like Christopher Lloyd does.

I must have upped the views on this clip a thousand times. I love this scene.

Jim at the garage (c. 1980) looks back and calls the late 1960s “a simpler time.” To me, those times were never that simple. In the late 60s, I thought of the 1950s as a simpler time. Today, what was the simpler era? Pre 9/11? We tend to think of the past in rather rosy terms.

Definitely, because TAXI was created by James L. Brooks and this episode was written by Sam Simon, and both Brooks and Simon went on to develop/run THE SIMPSONS. One or both of them clearly re-used this idea for Barney.

Taxi was one of the funniest shows on television. The cast was brillant and the storylines were great.
